Maple Jane Macarons!

This week our feature business is one that I am extremely excited to be showing off to you all as I have tasted for myself the yummy treats at..........Maple Jane Macarons!!

Honestly from the bottom of my heart you do not want to miss this wonderful and extremely scrummy business full of gorgeous colours and pure delightfulness!!

Maple Jane Macarons is run by the lovely and talented Courtney Stallard who since she was little has had a passion for colour, arts and crafts. This passion followed her while she went travelling and she gathered even more inspiration and is now a qualified Interior Designer.

But Courtney went even further with her passion. Courtney's love for all things bright and colourful attracted her to the new fad in Australia (introduced through Masterchef), Macarons. Courtney just had to try one but found that they were difficult find and realised that if she wanted to try on she would have to make some. Lucky for us Courtney had a friend who was creating mini jams as a wedding bomboniere and this gave Courtney the idea of macarons being a cute wedding gift idea............and from this Maple Jane Macarons was born!!!!

Maple Jane Macarons began with Courtney heading out to local markets across Adelaide and solely selling her handmade macarons. But it didn't take long for the business to grow into the world of party and event styling.

Through Courtney's work with Interior Design and homewares she was able to source a fantastic range of French Apothecary Jars and other sweets styling props to sell online and she has also recently completed a number of Candy Buffets for different events.

Maple Jane Macarons events are absolutely gorgeous and contain lolly buffets with lots of extras like personalised posters, labels, colours and themes with help make your day extra special.

Maple Jane Macarons also hires out equipment for those customers who wish to buy their own sweets and create their own special Candy Buffets.

While I was getting to know a bit about Maple Jane Macarons, Courtney very kindly shared with me some of her favourite things to buy handmade which included:

- Handmade home textiles, such as scatter cushions in interesting fabrics. from “Colour Therapy

· Up-cycled servingware made from vintage plates stacked between teacups to create a 3-tiered cake stand “Four Seeds”.

· Handmade jewellery such as my Pyramid necklace from “Minoux Jewelry” and my macaron brooch from “Foodie Love Jewellery

· Handmade Giraffe Softies, Sock Monkeys and Sock Monsters from “SweetCuddles” for the little ones.

· Finally I can’t go past a home-made Peach Soda from “The Little Van ThatCould” whenever I bump into this cute retro caravan at markets.

(All of those pages can be found on Facebook and if you click on the names through here you can go directly to their pages.)
